Optimax is the largest laser eye surgery operation in the UK . They have clinics across the country and their size allows them to offer cheaper procedures than many of their competitors. A charge of £60 is payable for an initial consultation. LASEK is available at £495 per eye, while LASIK costs £895 per eye.

Boots offers LASEK and LASIK procedures and wavefront mapping as an ‘extra'. Official prices are set at £1250 (for both operations) with wavefront pushing the price up to £1450.
